A former African American ordained minister,
an entrepreneur who ran a travel agency specializing
in Christian pilgrimages, and now a Torah Observant Jew,
explains in her own words:
The first time I visited Israel I knew I wanted to live there
and I knew I was willing to leave everyone and everything behind to fulfill that vision.
"Lech Lecha," the passage begins in Hebrew, as God speaks to Avraham.
"Go for yourself from your land, from your birthplace, and from your father’s house,
to the land that I will show you."
